Hopi Sterling Silver Overlay Necklace Phil Poseyesva
A little bit of the Artist; Phil Poseyesva a self-taught silversmith artist from the Second Mesa Village of the Mishongnovi on the Hopi reservation in Northern Arizona, he started making jewelry at a very early age of thirteen.
This beautiful necklace has a modern and abstract look, the overlay is very well detailed representing asymmetrical symbols and a Kokopelli at the center of the necklace. The necklace has the oxidize finish background and high polish overlay finish on top it is made out of sterling silver measuring 22” long, on the back has 4” link chain at each side that will make the necklace adjustable at the end has a traditional hook style clasp. It is signed PP at the back.
